Private Jets
A very rich person can afford to own their own private, luxurious jet. And why not? It is obviously going to be expensive but the cost is small beer to the very rich!
It will cost a lot of money to have the aircraft regularly maintained properly. Even if they don't use the aircraft, it will still cost money to keep it on standby, ready to fly if required.
The plane will also have to have a crew. That would be two pilots and at least one cabin crew member.
A private jet needs to be in use for over 400 flight hours per year before it becomes financially viable, but very rich people can do whatever they want!!!!
